West Canvey Marshes is a part of the RSPB South Essex Marshes, a network of wet grassland, reed beds and scrapes giving people a wonderful chance to see a whole host of wildlife.
Walk through the reserve to the viewpoint for superb views of the whole reserve and continue along the nature trail Pantile Farm and the sea wall. There are relaxing picnic sites at this reserve together with a playground for the younger wildlife enthusiasts.
Each year the RSPB in partnership with Canvey Island Town Council host a Wildlife Day Event to encourage new wildlife enthusiasts.
