Water Safety Day

WATER SAFETY EVENT – FRIDAY 25^th AUGUST

Canvey Island Town Council is pleased to announce the success of its’ Water Safety Event held at the Canvey Island Bandstand on Friday 25^th August 2023.  

The Town Council’s Water Safety Event saw HM Coastguard as a main feature on the day, who promoted their services, in a fun and engaging way. The Waterside leisure team joined the event to promote their services and swimming lessons and there were also free craft activities, provided by Yellow Door that proved extremely popular.

The Town Council are very thankful to the services that took part in the event who were enthusiastic and interactive with the local community, all helping residents and visitors ‘stay safe’ and ‘be aware of risks’ around the water.
