As part of an initiative to improve reach and engagement, Essex Police have created a feedback form with a view to obtaining honest feedback from residents who may not be on social media or choose to not comment on posts that are put out locally. The form is very simple, just a few questions for the resident to answer, however it is key to what Essex Police are trying to achieve:
It improves reach, by obtaining an email address to enable Essex Police to keep residents who are not on social media informed
Informing of the problems affecting individual the most, some of these may not be issues that the Police can resolve but they can sign post to other agencies or make referrals where necessary.
It drives the patrol plan, this is a document that is circulated internally on a weekly basis to local Essex Police departments in order that all staff are aware of problems in a given area, persons of interest and emerging crime trends.
Essex Police are keen for residents to email the completed form, however there is also a need to ensure that those who do not have email can get the form back to us. You can return your completed forms to the Canvey Island Town Council office during the opening hours detailed on this website and the forms will be kept secure and will be collected by Essex Police.
