Persimmon Homes is seeking local feedback on the issues that should influence their emerging masterplan for Land east of Canvey Road, Canvey Island. The masterplan will guide the redevelopment of this site to provide up to 300 new homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing, with a new roundabout access point on Canvey Road (A130).
Within the draft Castle Point Local Plan Land to the east of Canvey Road has been allocated for the delivery of around 300 new homes, with 40% affordable homes, along with landscaping and associated infrastructure, plus 6ha of land available for community uses (policy ref: HO23).
The draft Plan requires that a masterplan be prepared to guide future development at this site. This is currently being prepared by Persimmon Homes and is the purpose of this consultation.
How to have your say
To ensure as many people can participate as possible, we are undertaking both a virtual and physical public consultation of the emerging proposals influencing the masterplan.
Persimmon’s consultation will run from 12th January 2022 – 9th February 2022 and will be primarily hosted via this website. You may view our proposals at our Virtual Exhibition and provide feedback through our Have your say page.
