Canvey Island Town Council has an exciting programme of upcoming free summer events

On Friday 27th July the Town Council has arranged for families to be entertained by a traditional Punch and Judy Show on the beach in front of Concord Beach Tidal Pool. The two 30 minute shows will be running at 12pm and 2pm.

Saturday 28th July sees the annual Charity Garden Trail with 9 residential gardens across Canvey open to the public between the hours of 10am – 6pm. Many will have teas, coffees, plants and other items also for sale. All monies raised will be donated to Canvey Island FC Soccability Team. Programmes are priced at £3.00 each and are available now at the following locations, Canvey Island Town Council Offices, Garden World, GMD Mowers, Canvey Supply, Canvey Island Library, St Nicholas Church, Nisa Local Jones Corner, Sainsburys and Castle Point Transport Museum.

On Friday 10th August the Town Council will be hosting its’ Beach Fun Day at Concord Beach Tidal Pool. With arts and crafts, crabbing, fun activities and free giveaways available to all.

Friday 24th August a family picnic is planned for the area by the Town Council’s recently installed play area at Canvey Lake. Residents will be able to enjoy lawn games, messy crafts and learn more about the wildlife that reside in Canvey Lake. All activities will be run from 10am – 2pm.
