Canvey Island Town Council Award Grant to Phoenix Club

Phoenix Club for the Disabled receive grant from Canvey Island Town Council.

Canvey Island Town Council recently awarded £500.00 as part of its’ grants scheme to the Phoenix Club for the Disabled towards the purchase of a heavy duty gazebo.

Cllr Susan Brooke, Town Mayor of Canvey Island Town Council said “Congratulations to the Phoenix Club on their successful application for grant funding. The Town Council are very pleased to be helping this wonderful club, and we are very happy this grant will help them to expand on the activities they can offer.”

If there are other community or charity organisations working on Canvey Island who feel they would benefit from the grants scheme, they are asked to contact the Town Council.  Every year the Town Council sets aside money within the budget for grants, aimed to benefit people and projects on Canvey Island.
