Computers Donated to Every Child Online Charity

COMPUTERS DONATED TO EVERY CHILD ONLINE CHARITY

Canvey Island Town Council has recently donated four desktop PCs, monitors, keyboards and mice to Essex based charity ‘Every Child Online’. The charity aims for digital inclusion for all, tackling digital poverty and aims to improve digital and online education for children and young people. Due to computer upgrades the Town Council has been able to donate four sets of equipment that will be able to be donated straight to a school to ensure more children in need of support have access to the necessary equipment.

Deputy Town Mayor, Cllr Sue Brooke said “I am very pleased that the Town Council has been able to donate this equipment to such a worthy cause. Digital inclusion is important for all, however especially for the younger generation who need equipment for educational purposes in an ever increasingly digital world.”
