Castle Point Transport Museum receive grant from Canvey Island Town Council.
Canvey Island Town Council recently awarded £280.00 to Castle Point Transport Museum to purchase a printer aid the organisation in their ongoing work.
Cllr Sheridan Sayes, Town Mayor of Canvey Island Town Council said “Congratulations to Castle Point Transport Museum on their successful applications for grant funding. The Town Council are pleased to be helping such a worthy organisation, especially one that preserves the heritage in our local area and are a valuable asset to our community. ”
If there are other community or charity organisations working on Canvey Island who feel they would benefit from the grants scheme, they are asked to contact the Town Council. Every year the Town Council sets aside money within the budget for grants, aimed to benefit people and projects on Canvey Island. Applications will be considered for financial assistance from organisations towards a specific project, item or activity which is non commercial.
