The event being held on Saturday 28th May at King George’s Field, Canvey Island, is open from 11am – 4pm and is a free entry event. There will be performances from local groups including the Sutherland Pipes and Drums, as well as many more. There is also the Tug of War challenge where teams of 6 will be competing against each other. Other fun activities include free face painting, hair braiding and glitter tattoos. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnics however there will be picnic and cold food available to purchase on the day. Yellow Door will be providing fun activities for all ages and there will be a Fancy Hat Competition with prizes for three different categories, under 8, under 18 and over 18. There will also be a fire engine and vintage fire engine on display for visitors to enjoy.
