CANVEY LAKE IS CLOSED FOR FISHING

CANVEY LAKE FISHING CLOSURE EXTENDED

Due to the extreme effects of degraded water quality following low water levels and high temperatures this summer and following guidance from the Environment Agency as a governing body and Castle Point Borough Council as the landowner, the Town Council will be extending the closed period for angling at Canvey Lake until further notice.

More information will be released when all parties have reviewed the viability of the lake and a long-term solution can be found.
