Canvey Island Town Council Award Grant to Wyvern Community Transport

Canvey Island Town Council recently awarded £250.00 as part of its’ grants scheme to Wyvern Community Transport for the purchase of new uniforms.

Cllr Susan Brooke, Town Mayor of Canvey Island Town Council said “Congratulations to Wyvern Community Transport on their successful application for grant funding. The Town Council are pleased to be helping this organisation be able to promote themselves and the invaluable transport service they offer Canvey Island residents.”

If there are other community or charity organisations working on Canvey Island who feel they would benefit from the grants scheme, they are asked to contact the Town Council.  Every year the Town Council sets aside money within the budget for grants, aimed to benefit people and projects on Canvey Island.
