Canvey Island Town Council are organising their first Christmas shop front competition for businesses on Canvey Island.
Joan Liddiard, Chairman of Canvey Island Town Council said;”The Town Council wanted to get businesses involved in the lead up to Christmas and the purpose of the competition is to promote a business community spirit on the island. We would like to have as many businesses as
possible on Canvey Island to take part that have a shop front or window for the public. The Town Council would like to thank the Knightswick Shopping Centre for kindly donating a cash prize to the competition.”
The Christmas Shop Front competition is free to enter and all that is required is the completion of an application form, returning it with a 6 x 4 photograph of the decorated shop by the closing date of Friday, 2nd December 2011.
There will be one prize of £100 donated by the Knightswick Shopping Centre.
The applications will be viewed by the prize giver and the winner announced in the local press in time before Christmas. Please contact Canvey Island Town Council on 01268 683971 for further information and an application form.
