Canvey Island Town Council are proud to have hosted their very fist Garden Trail.
There were nine magnificent private gardens, which residents opened up to the public in aid of raising money and awareness of the pioneering research into all cancers carried out by our designated Charity Cancer Research UK.
The garden trail was a fantastic opportunity for visitors to view alternative gardens and grow enthusiasm into gardening as a hobby and promote wellbeing in these green gymnasiums.
Thank you to all of the visitors to the trail this year and to all of the wonderful garden owners who opened their gardens this year without whom this event would not have been possible.
There has been a fantastic response from all participants and visitors to the trail and we look forward to seeing this years participants and hopefully many new entrants into the trail for 2012!
